I'm Back (# 43)

Or am I? 

Well, for one episode, at least. I know I'll be too busy to draw a lot until at least next year, but since I do really miss my comic, I couldn't resist drawing this Halloween episode!

The End, for now.

After 42 episodes of my comic, I decided it's time to devote my time to other things, I am simply too busy at the moment to be able to draw a decent comic every two weeks. I don't draw well when I feel rushed, and it shows in my comic: there's a certain nonchalance in it lately, which I don't like at all. 

The old episodes will still remain here for you to see, obviously, and it's not unlikely that I will pick it up again at some point. There's quite a few storylines I want to explore still... And I may use this space for incidental other comics in the mean time, I don't know yet.

It's true. I am fifty years old now. Half a century. Back when I was born, the world was black and white. No colour TV. No colour photos. Things were attached with wires to other things back then. If you wanted to call someone while walking on the street, you needed to take quite a bit of cable with you. Fifty years seemed like an eternity, I couldn't imagine I would ever be that old. And now that I am there, it's not that bad at all! Not yet anyway....

Funny how your perspective changes as time passes...

I do hope I'll be able to make it through the day without needing to be intstitutionalized.... 

The Nieces

Once in a while, my nieces come over. Unlike in this comic, they always bring their parents, so they don't get to destroy as much as they did here. Storm is interested yet intimidated, he usually observes them from a high spot. Good thinking, I am sometimes secretly tempted to do the same, but that would look somewhat odd, I suppose.

Sick

As always, this is a true story. Or, part of it, at least. 

As for the perfect cat, I don't think he (or she) exists. There's always something mischievous and unexpected about them. Which is the reason we love them, isn't it? Having said that, it wouldn't hurt for Storm to be a bit nicer to me when I am sick. Or at least bring me tea. But that will never happen I suppose.
Though I keep hoping....

Christmas Tree

As you may suspect, this is not based on a true story at all. 
Actually, I don't think I have ever bought a real tree for Christmas.
I do own a tiny fake foldable tree though, it takes about 20 seconds to set up.
It's perfect! :D
